Does anyone else find that things are so much worse when they're tired?
I'm not sure if the voices get louder or if my ability to cope with them is lower. I also get the stupid sparkly alien things floating in front of my eyes, which is annoying when I'm trying to write the reports for work.
I'm absolutely exhausted at the moment and I want to stick my head in a bucket and bury it somewhere because it's causing me nothing but trouble.
*grumble*

Sounds familiar *hugs* Presumably with your line of work, you get tired out quickly, as you have to concentrate for long periods of time? That will be making you feel more tired, just to bear in mind.
Are you sleeping properly, or could that be improved upon? You know all the normal getting to sleep things- could you do those if you wake up in the night as well as when you first go to sleep? I often write off a night if I wake up at 3, but actually then benefit from a few more hours sleep.

Thank you Hannah *hugs*
Yeah, it is easy to get tired in my line of work. To keep everyone safe, I have to be alert when I'm on duty. Work aren't great at giving out breaks either; I worked 7.5 hours straight through today. I want to say to work that I can't do shifts like that without having some time to go off the floor and tell my head to shut up. Don't really know how to put it though!
Sleep hasn't been great because I've been a bit anxious about work. Anxiety makes things louder too, and trying to sleep when it sounds like you're being shouted at from across the room isn't the easiest thing in the world.
Stuuuuuuupid brain.

Can you ask about breaks, saying you need a bit of BNS time in a day otherwise you can't concentrate properly? That is a perfectly reasonable request.
Would having the radio on help at night? I find having the radio on (through headphones) overnight helps me. Especially if I wake up, then the voices have to fight to get in, instead of having silence to get in to, as that is easier. (if that makes sense)
No, not stupid brain, struggling brain- different things in my book.
